|
Objectives : The purpose of this study recognizes about the present situations of Leisure Activities for the Elderly. And to recognize a direction of Leisure Activities for the Elderly for the elderly actuality of our country. Methods : We reviewed literature of Leisure activities in Korea. And We found Leisure activity`s current situation problem for the Elderly on Occupational therapy perspective. Than, We offer future directions of Korean Leisure activity for the Elderly. Results : Korean Elderly`s Leisure activity in living time is occupied one thirds. The purpose of Leisure is fun, health, rest and peace of mind. Best reference of Leisure activity is "Social and other activity". In Korea literature, Leisure activity for Elderly has meaningful influence or high relation in Life satisfaction. The problem in Occupational therapy perspective is that The leisure activity has low diversity and People`s low recognition. For promotion of Leisure activity for Elderly, Improve social recognition. Make diverse Senior program, and Need support of Community. Conclusion : Nowaday, we are focus on Elderly`s quality of life. But Korea`s actual system is insufficient. We need more study for Leisure activity promotion appropriate in Korea. For elderly`s high quality of life and satisfaction in community and home environment, Diverse service include community based occupational therapy need to activate.
